This was the case with this gorgeous couple who have passions deeply rooted in art, design, and fashion, but most importantly in their love for each other. Anthony and Gabriela’s paths intertwined in the name of art, as she was a freelance fashion model and he is a painter, songwriter, and graphic designer. Their vision was to show their uniqueness and story in a full glow at a location that reflected their personalities, thus they opted for a desert elopement in Tabernas.

In the days leading to their iconic experience, we tailored several details like designing the complete concept, planning their honeymoon, and creating a custom honeymoon itinerary. The thing that made everything more memorable is the fact that Anthony and Gabriela wanted to visit Europe for the first time by having an elopement in Spain. They wonderfully combined their nuptial experience with a honeymoon trip before moving to the USA.
Chapter 1 | Sunrise Pre-Elopement Session
In the name of the wild-spirited love, we started their story with a vintage boho sunrise shoot in Granada. Their wanderlust lead the way simply walking through the cobbled stoned alleys, soaking in the old-world beauty all around. They reached a romantic epiphany when we blended several elements in order to do justice to their personalities.
Continuing with a bold sunrise shoot on top of a tiled rooftop AirBnb on the Moorish quarters of Granada, at the Albaicin. Taking in all the sunrise while the summer weather started to warm each other up. The rooftop view is one of our favorites as it showcased the most breathtaking Alhambra Background, the landscape from above and the quiet streets at first light.
Followed by a culmination - Anthony painting on his beloved’s back; we embodied what their love was all about. Paired with moody sunlight play with a soft shimmer, we did our magic to ensnare the beauty of this ethereal shoot, as a prequel to their desert elopement in Tabernas.
Chapter 2 | Sunset Andalusia Elopement Ceremony
This bohemian gypsy free-spirited couple had a clear goal, a goal that we also share - celebrating love on their own terms, in their own unconventional way.
First let's start by the details, their getting ready will surely make you want to have an elopement on the desert as well. The Boutique hotel Murallas de Jayrán in Almería, Spain was the perfect place to start their magical day. The weather was magnificent, the sun came through the interior patio making shadow textures everywhere. We adored the custom stationery that was beautifully inspired by the Moorish art and design patterns and symbols found in the Alhambra, Granada by Lili Weds. The area was styled to fit all the modern bohemian vibes possible. Of course, nothing of this would be completely possible without the talented planner Yesica from Yes Style My Style Wedding!
When it came to their location we discovered the perfect off-the-beaten-path desert location aligned with their personalities - just a 1-hour drive from Grenada. As Anthonio and Gabriela are adventurous and daring, having a desert elopement in Tabernas fit the image seamlessly. Plus, what goes more iconically with a boho color palette than a desert? Precisely, nothing. Not to mention how their attire complimented the whole surrounding, making a statement with every step they took. Gabriela wore a fashion-forward modern boho gown channeling an edgy flair and styling adorned with accessories & a headpiece from Martina Dorta. And her rad combat boots? Just a cherry on the top! Anthony was a real vision with white attire with white sneakers and a daring ivory coat for the dessert chills.
To blend yet stand out with the desert landscape, we opted for beige, ivory, white and neutral tones. This palette was reflected in the gorgeous florals curated by Mi Secreto de Boda a beautiful play of textures and earthy tones. The couple said their I do’s as the officiant Unas Palabritas bound their love with a personalized bohemian elopement ceremony.
The Tabernas desert in Almería, Spain proved to be the perfect haven for Anthony and Gabriela while just after their intimate elopement ceremony they wandered around the cliffs in celebration for their newlywed union.
Chapter 3 | Intimate Andalusia Wedding Dinner
When searching for the perfect venue to host your reception, make sure it represents your unique traits. We chose the boutique hotel in the town of Almeria called Murallas de Jayrán because it embodied a plethora of styles, mixed with calm earthy tones. It enjoyed several aesthetic expressions like a combination of charming Mediterranean flair with Muslim architecture touches, similarly resembling a Moroccan riad. It truly fitted their story like a glove!
With minimalistic styling and delicate details, the couple celebrated their elopement in Spain and enjoyed their dinner. The menu designs were just the ideal touch by Lili Weds. The romance was prolonged as Anthony and Gabriela went back to the hotel and had an intimate dinner on the rooftop restaurant, closing the night off with champagne.
